Aerotel Medical Systems Reveals Innovative Solutions for Remote Cardiac Care at AHA 2007
Aerotel’s telemedicine solutions offer significant clinical and economical benefits for patients, families, physicians and administrators
Orlando, FL, October 22, 2007 -- Aerotel Medical Systems, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced remote monitoring solutions for telemedicine and telecare, will be presenting its portfolio of remote cardiology monitoring solutions, again this year, at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2007 in Orlando, Florida, USA, November 4-7, 2007.
The advanced cardiac care solutions to be presented by Aerotel at AHA Scientific Sessions 2007 include:
HeartView™ - The market’s smallest professional 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) transtelephonic recorder/transmitter. A user-friendly device, HeartView enables the transmission of comprehensive ECG data from any place and at any time, over the phone through to the Aerotel’s Heartline Receiving Station (HRS) for immediate diagnosis.
HeartView™ P12/8 Plus - user-friendly personal 12 or 8 lead electrocardiogram (ECG) recorder/transmitter. This small, easy-to-operate personal ECG device puts patients in control and provides physicians with a clear, comprehensive ECG graphic recording. Operating the HeartView P-12/8 Plus requires very little effort. The patient simply records a 12 or 8 lead ECG by using a 3-wire patient cable and the four embedded electrodes on the back of the unit. The recorded ECG is then transmitted through the phone to Aerotel’s Heartline Receiving Station (HRS) for immediate diagnosis.
HeartOne™ - An innovative, single lead, easy to use, ultra-compact ECG recorder/transmitter, HeartOne™ is unique in its portability and capability of maximizing patient mobility. It’s so small that it easily fits into a pocket, making it readily available for use at any time and any place. Recorded results can be transmitted to the Heartline Receiving Station (HRS) from any standard telephone.
Cardiac Loop Event Recorders - Aerotel’s user-friendly loop event recorders (1 or 2 lead models) are used for accurate documenting of transient cardiac symptoms, enabling long-term transtelephonic monitoring of cardiac activity.
